Do you have a chosen or pet you'd like to brag about? One of my dogs, Hattie McDaniel, named after the first black woman to receive an Oscar, for her role as Mammy in Gone with Wind.  Hattie McDaniel was not allowed at the Oscar ceremony.  Hattie McDaniel, the dog, is a Black Mouth Cur and can open doors.
