No, those interested in staying at a SafeLot must complete an application appointment and background check to be considered for entry.

Is there a time limit on how long I can stay in the SafeLot?

What kind of crimes are automatic denials to the SafeLot?

SafeLots strive to be as low-barrier as possible, which is why each background check is evaluated on a case-by-case basis and no crime is considered an ‘automatic denial.’ However, sexual offenses, felony drug charges, and felony assault charges are reviewed by the SafeLot team to determine if the applicant can move forward in the application process.
