Get Involved
Thank you for your interest in contributing to the work of CSPI, to get people sheltering in vehicles the support they need while they strive to get back to secure housing. There are many ways to help, all of which are important to our mission, critical to those we serve and appreciated by the entire community.
Financial Support
As always, monetary contributions that we can use for program costs or emergency needs are quite useful since they can be put where they are most needed at any time of year. Select the button to donate now.
Wish List
SafeLot guests often have needs beyond a safe place to park overnight.
Always useful to have are gasoline vouchers for guests to get to a job or bring a child to school or grocery vouchers to tide folks over until their next paycheck. Depending on the season, more specific needs such as warm sleeping bags or solar lamps may be requested.
Please review our wish list if you would like to donate any of these items, and check back often as the list can change over time.
Volunteering
We have periodic needs for volunteers, either within the organization, such as writing articles and helping to carry out fundraising events, or directly with SafeLots where hosts may need help distributing meals or goods, interfacing with guests, or performing routing maintenance at the lots.
Donated Services
We also can always use a range of services, from car repairs and notary services to haircuts and meal provision. If you are a stylist, mechanic or offer another type of service that might fall within the needs of people sheltering in their vehicles, please get in touch and let us know what you have in mind!
